OK, so I am neither willing nor do I have 8 grand to spend on an Yzerman Gamer. However, he is my all-time favorite player and I have chosen to honor him in my collection with replicas. Yzerman was not only one of the greatest players to play the game but a true class act on and off the ice. Professional athletes across all sports should look at him as a role model.

Steve Yzerman, 1984 All-Star Game Replica
Jersey: CCM, Size XL, Autographed on the back number 1.
Acquired From: Dealer - AJ Authentic LOA: Stevie Y Authentics
Notes: At age 18, Yzerman was the youngest player ever named to an NHL All-Star Game in 1984. He assisted on teammate John Ogrodnick's goal during the game held January 31, 1984 in New Jersey. He was named to 10 All-Star Games during the course of his career.
Steve Yzerman, 1991-92 Detroit Red Wings Throwback Replica
Jersey: CCM Vintage, Size 2XL
Acquired From: Ebay
Notes: These throwback jerseys were worn by the Red Wings during the 1991-92 season to celebrate the NHL's 75th anniversary. This really isn't even a good replica as it is missing the 75th anniversary patch but it's the best a $100 bucks is gonna get you on Ebay!
Steve Yzerman, 1998 Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup Finals Authentic
Jersey: Nike Authentic, Size 52
Acquired From: Ebay
Notes: This is an authentic replica of the jersey Steve wore in 1998 when he lifted his second Stanley Cup in as many years. It was a story book ending to long season after the tragic accident involving Vladimir Konstantinov and Sergei Mnatsakanov.
Steve Yzerman, 2002 Team Canada Olympic Replica
Jersey: Nike, Size XL
Acquired From: The Hook Up
Notes: Yzerman helped lead Team Canada to a gold medal in the 2002 Winter Olympics. This was the third "alternate" jersey worn by Team Canada during the Olympics. It is fairly unusual for an international team to have an alternate style jersey. It was an obvious marketing ploy to sell more jerseys that well, ummm, worked!
